The name K-Märkt comes from the fact that the building, which is popularly known as Garnisonen, is K-Märkt (Swedish for cultural marked).
Today, K-Märkt can be found at six addresses in Stockholm with restaurants, food cafes and event venues. Their mission is to spread knowledge about food waste and sustainable restaurant operations. What mainly distinguishes K-Märkt is that they serve good and warming food at a buffet, where each plate is weighed. A very good way to offer each guests exactly as much food as they want at the moment and thus contribute to reduced food waste.
